"Managing flexibility" is the competence claim of the Witzenmann Group. Founded in 1854 as a jewellery manufacturer, it was in 1885 that Heinrich Witzenmann laid the basis for today’s metal hose and expansion joint industry with the invention of the metal hose.

More than 125 years later, the Witzenmann Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of flexible metal elements including metal hoses, expansion joints, metal bellows and automotive components. In 2017, over 4,300 employees generated sales in excess of 614 million euros.

Boasting the world's broadest range of products in the industry, Witzenmann offers engineered solutions designed to decouple vibrations, compensate for thermal movement, aid installation and convey a wide range media. As a development partner of customers within the automotive, industrial, technical building equipment, aerospace and many other markets, Witzenmann has an extensive portfolio of machinery / tooling, prototype production as well as comprehensive range testing equipment.

An important factor in the cooperation with the customer is the technical advice provided by our local sales and application engineers with the support of competence centre located at the Group Headquarters in Pforzheim (Germany). Within this competence centre a large group of experienced and creative engineers continually develop products and processes to support both existing & new applications.
